Job Description

Student/Candidate Engagement:Assist students or job seekers in identifying their career objectives and aspirations.

Match candidates with relevant job openings based on their skills and qualifications.

Networking:Attend job fairs, career expos, and industry events to connect with potential employers.
Build a network of alumni and industry professionals to enhance job placement opportunities.

Data Management:Maintain accurate records of student/job seeker profiles and their placement status.
Keep track of job listings, internship opportunities, and employer contacts.

Counseling and Advising:Provide one-on-one career counseling to help candidates make informed career decisions.
Offer advice on job search strategies, networking, and career planning.

Reporting and Documentation:Prepare reports on job placement statistics and trends.
Maintain databases and generate relevant documentation for internal and external purposes.

Career Workshops and Training:Organize workshops and training sessions on topics such as job searching, resume writing, and interview techniques.
Conduct mock interviews to prepare candidates for real job interviews.

Alumni Engagement:Engage with alumni to promote their involvement in assisting recent graduates in finding job opportunities.

Compliance and Ethics:Ensure that all job placement activities adhere to ethical and legal standards.
Stay up-to-date with labor laws, industry regulations, and best practices.

Marketing and Promotion:Promote the institution’s career services and job placement programs to students, faculty, and employers.

Continuous Improvement:Gather feedback from students, alumni, and employers to enhance placement services.
Stay current with industry trends and adapt placement strategies accordingly.

Qualifications for a Placement Executive may include a bachelor’s or master’s degree in fields such as career counseling, human resources, or education, as well as relevant experience in student services, recruiting, or career counseling.
